Anything else?
My father was admitted to Good Hope hospital after a fall. It was discovered he had numerous brain tumours & would not live long. Every member of staff we came across were so kind to us, the family. We were able to get day home with palative care which was organised for us (with us). Unfortunately, after two weeks it was apparent dad needed more care & was re-admitted to hospital. Dad was treated so tenderly, it brings a tear to my eye even now. After a few days, dad was transferred to John Taylor Hospice, where he died two days later. I cannot express my gratitude to the staff at Good Hope. From the stroke assessment ward, where he spent a week (that was what was suspected from the fall) to the AMU staff, their care was exemplary. I wish I had sent a thank you letter at the time.
"Superb Care"
