"Friendly atmosphere and staff."

About: Leeds General Infirmary

(as a relative),

What I liked

Friendly atmosphere and staff.

What could be improved

Somewhere for theatre staff or those involved with surgery not to spend their breaks in the public area of the snack bar/restaurant still wearing their protective gowns and caps along with their special footwear.

Our reason for sending this is:-

:Recently visited LGI and found it to be very off-putting and sometimes distressing whilst the public are eating/drinking and sometimes having visited patients undergoing surgery to have to share these facilities with the staff still wearing dry blood-stained boots/shoes.

Thank you for your posting regarding your experience at LGI. I am pleased to hear that the PCT is commissioning good standards of patient care. I will be happy to forward your comments regarding theatre staff and associated staff using public areas for break periods to the LGI for comment.
