"Taxi driver provided was extremely erratic"

My mother was due to be taken to hospital by ambulance. However, we waited a long time and the ambulance didn’t arrive, so we were provided with a taxi instead.

The taxi driver was extremely erratic. He was driving 60mph and using his phone whilst driving. I told him to slow down, but I’m really concerned if my mother, who is elderly, was in the car on her own it would have been a very traumatic time.

I wanted to share this as I don’t want any elderly passengers to go through the same experience.

On the way back we had an ambulance and the chap was lovely.

I am very sorry to hear that your journey to hospital gave you cause for concern.
