I was seen promptly with care and results came back quickly.
There is a ticket system at the blood clinic, so you can take a ticket and wait in the waiting room or go for a wander. waiting time was around half an hour.
The clinic nurse was very helpful. As I have low blood pressure, I have to have blood taken lying down (otherwise I faint and take up floor space! ). There was a short additional wait for the one cubical with the bed, but then there was no pressure to move on till I was ready to go.
The nurse took two phials of blood without me noticing (I only felt one prick) and talked to me throughout. We had a nice chat. She was friendly and competent.
Even though I'm not keen on having blood tests, I never mind coming to the Homerton blood clinic for them as it is always done so well.
Well done to the team for being consistently good.
