What I liked

i would be sarcastic & say leaving, but the number of people huddled around the entrance in their bedclothes, smoking & coughing make even that unpleasant.

Medical staff are helpful & pleasant.

What could be improved

Bags of dirty laundry left for over 2 hours on several floors by the lifts.

Contract Staff weaving past less mobile patients to use the lifts.

General dirtiness: cups on floor, sweet/crisp wrappers on floor, dirty handmarks on doors, dead insect on window sills.

Generally every visit i make is a very unpleasant experince. Thank goodness I've been able to move some appointments to a different hospital.

This service is based in the foyer at Hull Royal Infirmary and you can either drop in to see them, telephone on 01482 623065 or by email. We will ensure that your comments are passed on to the Trust who are keen to learn from their patients’ experiences and will be looking to make sure that services are improved as a result of the feedback provided.
