"trip to minor injuries, Sunday 18th August"

About: Bridport Community Hospital

Anything else?

Briefly, was stung by wasps from a ground nest whilst grass cutting, thought nothing about it, then started developing rashes, swelling etc and was advised by me old mum to high-tail down to Minor Injuries. The treatment received and whole attitude to my 'condition' and the care I received was exemplary. I felt rather false even turing up for a few wasp stings but was very quickly put at ease and advised throughout the consultation what was happening and the reason for any decisions or medication. I honestly cannot praise the staff enough - simply superb member of staff, who even stayed on well after her shift finished to ensure all was well with myself. Thank goodness the Minor Injuries Unit is still in Bridport.
