My husband had his op last Monday was told to ring between 4 and 6 to see if he was back now this is a joke was trying from 4pm till got to hospital at 6pm and you get is this line is busy please try later I no other people are trying to enquire about family and friends but 2 hours it's a joke ! When we got to ward my husband had not come back and was told the same story when I said I been trying for 2 hours was told they answered as many as they could I think not sure it is put straight on to answer machine so we had come from Newark for nothing but the sister could see we wasn't happy and rung ( yes they answered ) if we go see him in recover which we were most thank full for but there must be a better system to use to at least but people minds at rest after all that still not impressed with any f it he rung call bell and 15min later still no nurse thank good ness it wasn't urgent i was in the hospital 4 years ago and the nursing care was shocking but do think it has improved
