"Liverpool crisis team"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I had been sectioned before by the police a year earlier... so I took myself to Liverpool-UH a+e where I was shaking and desperate to see a dr.

I had cut myself and had taken an overdose, I was certain I wanted to die. A member of the team came to see me after a long wait, and first off I was told that my cuts were 'superficial' and that they weren't bad, this instantly put thoughts in my head. I told him I wanted to kill myself, he laughed and handed me his card.... You ring me if you need me, he said.

And that was that, and tonight I'm feeling the same, worried and scared for my safety, but I know not to ask the crisis team for help, but merely call the police.
