My relative was discharged and was back in a few hours later because she wasn't fit to go home and subsequently fell and broke her arm.
There was no communication with the family despite us being there daily. I wouldn't recommend Hillingdon Hospital to look after my pet at the moment, just in case they put it down without my consent.
I have to stress it's not the nursing staff but the management. I think we need matrons who have the final say on their wards like they used to - from cleaning to patient treatment. Currently they don't seem to have any real say over anybody but the nurses. And Iwonder why is a Ward Manager AND a Matron needed on a ward?
I think that is exactly the problem with Hillingdon. Too many managers not enough front line staff.
