I was taken to a&e by ambulance with an elderly person who was sent by a gp to be greeted with a 45min wait to be handed over to. While in that time there was no dignity to the person and was on show to everybody. I was then handed over to what I thought was a stressed and rude nurse who didnt think we should of been. I felt she shouldn't of been there due to her been elderly. I found some of the nursing staff to be rude is this coarse they over worked and cant cope with the work load or is it just coarse they are generally rude. After waiting several hours to be dealt with I felt as though we were put in a room and forgotten about as it wasn't classed as an emergency. I think there is a big problem in all the a&e department and the problem needs solving
