"Linda Mc Cartney Clinic"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital

Anything else?

I was here today and every member of staff was exceptional. I was worried and I went 20 mins early for appointment. I was called in exactly at my appointment time. I had been referred by GP. I was instructed to put on a gown and wait for an X ray. This took 15 mins. I was given 4 X Rays 2 on each breast. The radiographer was extremely helpful. I was asked to sit in a row of about 9 women. Water is available if u ask staff. Take a magazine/book. I waited about 35 mins and then called in to a side room. The lady told me she was a Senior Nurse and asked me questions, she took a history etc, she then said my X ray was OK but she still wanted to do an examination. I cant remember her name but I do remember her kind and reassuring manner. Everyone I met was caring. I even asked the way to the clinic on arrival and a volunteer escorted me there. This has to be a ten out of ten place to go. There are no men around once you go into the clinic. It's relaxed and informal. You feel safe. I came out all clear and would recommend their efficiency. Well done and nice cafe on floor 1.
