"very best of care"

About: Peterlee Community Hospital

Anything else?

I am nearing the end of my treatment for cancer of the stomach/ oesophagus. I attended the Peterlee walk in centre December 2012. I seen a Doctor regarding my breathlessness and feeling feint. He admitted me to Sunderland Royal where I was diagnosed with this horrible disease. I would just like to thank with all my heart the Dr who directed me to the Royal for further in depth tests. You literally saved my life.

Dear Chris, We are pleased to hear that you are happy with the level of care and advice you received from our walk-in centre in December 2012. It is always good to hear of the excellent work our staff is doing and that, in this case, it meant that your cancer was caught and treated quickly. Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback of your experience on NHSChoices. We hope that your treatment is going well and that you have a swift recovery.
