"Truly professional"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital (Telford)

Anything else?

I was referred to the orthopaedics team at PRH by my local minor injuries unit, for the treatment of a ruptured Achilles tendon. Without exception, the clinical staff were friendly, caring and very professional. They really seemed to work well together as a team. Despite the obvious pressure on their time, they were very patient in answering my questionsand giving me all the information and advice that I needed in orderr to decide between different treatment options. I elected for a surgical reapir under local anaesthetic. Not an experience that I would want to repeat, but it was made as comfortable as possible by the Ward 10 and theatre staff. The surgeon inspired great confidence and i now look forward to a progresve recovery under their guidance.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience of surgery and Ward 10. It sounds like you experienced good teamwork, good two-way communication and good treatment. I hope that you are indeed making a good recovery.
