"wd 23/mau"

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

Anything else?

I was admitted to mau then transferred to wd23 on 07/08/2013.I have only praise for the treatment and care I received from both wards. The staff work in conditions that must cause stress from start to finish. Some of the patients in their care have very low tolerance levels and complaining seems to be top priority. My only other observation I would make is why mix acute patients with chronic as neither side seems to benefit.Once agaln many thanks for taking cars of me. Hello, thank you for your positive comments, I've passed these on to the staff on the MAU and Ward 23. In terms of mixing acute and chronic patients, we aim to send patients to the ward which has the staff with the skills to provide them with the best possible care whether their condition is acute or chronic. Kind regards, Sarah Mainprize
