I attended the Homerton Hospital after being sent home by another Nhs hospital and feeling very dissatisfied. I went to accident and emergency the receptionist who booked me in she was helpful and friendly she asked me to sit in waiting area until my name is called. To my delight I did not have to wait long to see someone who took my blood pressure then I refer to see the Doctor who straight refer me to the surgeon who was outstanding explained to me what operation he was doing to me he made feel very at ease and was very efficient .I was put on a ward all of the staff were helpful friendly and very involve with making sure I was comfortable and happy. The ward was clean at a very high standard especially the toilets and showers. My family who called to hospital were greeted over the phone with good customer service it is very rare for a hospital to really care about the patients relatives and to make them feel at ease over the phone. The food that I receive was lovely all though I had breakfast and lunch it was well cooked and nutritious. My operation was a successful I would like to say a big thank-you to all the staff from the Receptionist ,Doctors, surgeons and the Recovery team even some the staff on ,my ward who were agency staff represented the hospital with excellentt professionalism.
