About: Scarborough General Hospital

Anything else?

I gave birth to my baby girl on the 29th April 2013 she was 9 week prem and I had complications in surgery and haemorrhaged spent 4 days in intensive care and 5 on hobs. We are from barnsley and were on our way home from a weeks holiday in blue dolphin caravan park, I was very critically ill and the wonderful doctors and nurses at Scarborough saved my life and delivered my baby safely. Every ward and every person involved with my care has and always will be a part of my family and in mine and my familys hearts forever as I would not be alive to enjoy my new baby girl and her 3 brothers today if it wasn't for their hard work that afternoon. My baby Allana was transported to barnsley scbu that evening and I only met her on the day I was transferred to barnsley hospital 9 days After her birth. The experience I had was one of an positive one and one I will never forget. I did come across a doctor or 2 that had very un respectable attitude to other staff and how they spoke about patients but fortunately non involved with me, I do plan on bringing my daughter back to meet the people who saved her and my life soon now we are well and thriving :) massive thanks to the surgeon and his colleges xxxx
