(as a service user),

I have used the continence advisory service at Fartown intermittently between 2012-2013 due to problems caused by a prolapse.

I have always been given good, informative and helpful advice.

Women often think that the only treatment option for prolapse is surgery.

However there is good evidence to say that if women take on board advice about lifestyle changes and work at a tailor made programme of pelvic floor exercises their symptoms of mild prolapse can be made much better.
