I had an appointment today, to attend the "Pre-Operative Assesment Clinic. I was worried sick on arrival, but upon leaving was very happy indeed. The hospital was clean and tidy and very big. Every member of staff, I come across, was fantastic, polite and friendly. They all had time to help me, as I got lost quite a bit along the way. Every member from the pre op team are amazing in their own way, from the wonderful female nurse, who took my medical details, and the time to listen to my worrying thoughts, to the friendly male nurse, who took my blood, which was like getting a blood out of a stone, literally, (my fault not his) but he did a great job it, to the polite receptionist. All I can say is... After todays visit, it has put my mind at ease, knowing I will be having my operation and staying in this hospital, while I recover, Many Thank You's, to every single member of staff, I met along the way today.
