Thank you for providing feedback on the care your mother received at University Hospital, Coventry in April 2012. I am very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the experience on this occasion and that you felt your mother’s care was “unhumane and shameful”. You also go onto say that the hospital should be avoided by older people. Whilst it is difficult to give a more personalised response as your comments do not go into much detail, I can say that the Trust is committed to ensuring older patients receive an effective and compassionate service from our hospitals.
