"the nurses worked very hard and ..."

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute)

(as the patient),

What I liked

the nurses worked very hard and tried to be helpful. they were very swift to administer pain relief...should you be able to find one. the porters and ancillary nurses were attentive and personal and tried to cover for the lack of trained staff.

What could be improved

it took the hospital staff four attempts to do a simple blood test and even then they had tested me for the wrong thing and lost one sample completely. this is a severely understaffed hospital. there is a distinct lack of privacy on the mixed wards with post op patients walking around in open gowns.
