"A&E"

About: Bedford Hospital South Wing

Anything else?

Visited A&E at Bedford hospital recently and waited hours and hours with minimal medical staff apparently in attendance. The few I saw did not seem to be particularly working under pressure considering the large number of people waiting to be seen. When I eventually did receive attention, I was not filled with confidence at the relatively scant attention received and I was not given full details of what was found as I only discovered this when I saw my GP who subsequently contacted me as she was surprised that I had been sent home without a full diagnosis being made. All in all a picture of a decaying if not decayed health service.
