Anything else?
I went through A&E on lunch time sunday. One of my symptoms was dizziness. When called through the nurse shouted my name from the door and then promptly disappeared. My 74 year old mother was with me who helped me and then we went to find the nurse, we had to ask at a nurse station where she had gone and we were directed to a booth where the nurse was sat on her computer. I sat in the booth opposite her. Without looking up she told me to go and pull the curtain across the booth. I told her I was dizzy and unsteady on my feet so she told me we'd discuss my symptoms once i'd pulled the curtain across! My son had had identical symptoms and had been diagnosed with viral meningitis a few weeks back and so I was a bit worried, particularly as i'd spent the day before with my granddaughter. Despite saying this my examination lasted about 3 minutes and rather than let me ask questions the nurse said we'd finished and walked away!
"Nurse clearly didn't want to be there"
