"Delay in seeing an endocrinologist"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Endocrinology

(as the patient),

In June I was told as diagnosed with thyroid nodules I needed to see an endocrinologist without delay.

After GP received test results from Germany, it took several weeks before referral was confirmed, and only after I spoke with CAS for another reason in person, an appointment at QMC was booked for end of August - no choice given btw.

Today I had a phone call, I should see a different consultant - and that meant a further wait until end of Sept.

Not happy, and not certain whether this is safe practice either.

Thank you.
