My daughter was taken into A&E at the weekend following a nasty bug picked up whilst in Egypt. The staff were amazing, making us feel at ease and attending to her needs. Although she was on a drip for hours, the Dr in charge was fantastic!! I'm sure he was extreemly busy but eveyrtime he came to see us he made us feel that we were his priority. You couldn't fault the dedication of the nurses on duty too. A few elderly patients were brought in during our stay and the staff were very gentle and caring in their approach. It's reassuring to know that if you get ill in the Salisbury area we have a fantastic Health Care System in place. Thank you Salisbury District Hospital!!!

As you point out, the Emergency Department is a really busy place, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays. The team will be delighted to hear that you felt you, your daughter, and other patients you observed were treated by staff who were gentle and caring and helped put our patients at ease. We know that our staff work hard to provide high quality care, but when people who use our services give feedback like yours, it really does mean a lot, so thank you once again. We hope that your daughter hasmade a full recovery from her illness.
