What I liked

The treatment I received from all the staff I came into contact with on Welton ward were a credit to the hospital & NHS,This includes everyone from the domestic staff to the surgeons. Entering on New Years Eve was unfortunate timing but I was made to feel welcome which was a bonus considering the severe pain I was in. I found your staff to be pleasant polite and considerate which in modern life is sometimes in short supply.

What could be improved

My first admissin via A & E was bordering on adequate and I felt that my medical examination was less than thorough considering I was suffering from 2 prolapsed discs. I was discharged after several hours with no consideration as to my situation and available transport home. I was clearly unwell and suffered very severe vomiting whilst awaiting transport home but staff appeared to be disinterested which was a pity as I was readmitted several days later for the operation.
