"Total lack of patient care"

About: Epsom Hospital

Anything else?

I was admitted to Epsom General this year (2013). I was placed on a medical ward where the other patients all seemed to have a form of dementia. Two male nurses were covering the ward through the night but this seemed to involve sitting at the nurses station and chatting while the other patients were calling for help. I was supposed to be admitted for observation but no-one did any checks on me the whole time I was there. I was not offered anything to eat, and to drink I just had water in a jug that was already on the table when I was admitted so I have no idea how long it had been there. The toilet was dirty and smelled bad. The whole experience was horrendous.
