I severed an artery on a broken glass at home in front of my young son. The resulting blood loss caused a great deal of distress to my wife and son. But once the ambulance arrived the crew took control and took a great deal of care in making a calm and happy atmosphere whilst treating the wound. I was very impressed with their efficiency, attitude and care and I am especially grateful in their going the extra mile and popping in to see us later that evening. Please pass on my thanks they are excellent representatives for the service. In the A&E department, all the medical staff, were friendly and efficient. Staff treated me with the greatest care and consideration, and the Dr did a fantastic job in repairing the damage. The episode was stressful for my family and we very much appreciate the way the staff not only saw to me but were aware of the effect on my son, Thanks to everyone involved in my treatment the experience was as good as it possibly could be.
