"I was admitted to the Coronary ..."

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit through A&E having suffered a severe unstable angina attack on a golf course. A para-medic was in attendance on the golf course within 7 minutes. I spent 4 days in the CCU at the LRI and found the facilities, the staff and even the food to be excellent. I have nothing but praise for all the staff in the CCU. I was referred onto Glenfield Hospital where within 3 weeks I was fitted with a coronary stent as a day-care patient. Well done Leicester Royal Infirmary and in particular the Coronary Care Unit, keep up the good work and thanks for your professional care and dedication. Oh lets not forget the ambulance service for negotiating the greens at the Leicestershire Golf Club, thanks guys.

What could be improved

I really cannot think of anything that could be improved. I spent 4 days in the Coronary Care Unit and could not criticise a single thing.
