Over a week ago my wife, tried to 'phone the above no.(as directed) re a overdue eye assessment. The no. was constantly busy.She has rung the no. some 30 to 40 times each day sinc and,each time the line was busy. apart from two occassions when the call got through and the no. was ringing. She let the call ring for 9 and 10 minutes but no reply and ended the call. Finally on Monday last at 08-30am after a few "busy"calls she managed to make contact and spoke to a lady who resolved my wifes query. Yes,it is a very" busy" clinic but oh! attention is needed to accessing this phone number Thank you for letting me voice my frustration and concern.

It is not entirely clear which number you were trying to call, but we do appreciate that there have been recent issues with our service. We want to not only apologise for the inconvenience and frustration caused by this matter, but also take this opportunity to update you on some developments in the service that will improve the way we deliver our service to patients. We are very aware that some patients wait longer for appointments or their surgery than ideal and that some patients also have their appointment dates or times changed.
