Anything else?
I had to go to the A&E on the 4th July. Had more tests and was looked after the Doctors and Nurses who kept me informed about my care whilst I was on the Ward. Was discharged on the 11th July. The Hospital was clean, the staff were very helpful, Hopefully it is now sorted.. Just waitig for the followup Appointment.letter.. Food was great, and as I am a Coeliac they catered for my condition. Only one day they "muffed it"... Supper on the Sunday, where I got a meal was not as ordered, -fish in cream sauce - I had no sauce!! very dry.. my Dessert was missing, got Mushroom soup instead.. could not eat it maybe not gluten free!! A nurse went to the catering Dept an got me a suitable dessert. As I was able walk around, the gardens by Farfax Ward were very handy with seating and get some Sun, but had watch the entrance door as once there you could get back, had to wait for somebody to walk past and open the door or you have to walk around to the Out Patients Entrance. Some seating could be provided near the Main entrance, next to the smoking shelter, would be handy for people waiting to be picked up and the like. Maybe talk to some Garden Centers ask for a good deal or get them Donate one or two.... Warwick Hosp is Great, My Daughter had her Baby there whilst I was there, it is my first choice, tho' I am on the boarder of Coventry we are 8 miles away door to door - about 10 mins away, it is easy to get to for us. Keep up the great work, thanks to the Dr's and Staff on Willoughby Ward A - Thanks Adrian Chamberlain
