The initial appointments and interviews were superb and indicated a very high standard was to be expected. On the day, my reception and processing was without fault and I was very comfortable. Communication with staff was excellent. The operation itself was my first ever and was a relaxed. The team of doctors and nurses were excellent and very professional leading to increased confidence. Care after the operation was superb - could not have been bettered. For recovery I was transferred to ward 47 - comfortable and airy. Drinks, food and attention were all in abundance. Nothing was a problem. First class. If there was a problem it was that little sleep was to be had due to the constant care being administered to an elderly gentleman in great need.
