"Treatment of a long-term shoulder instability"

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

Anything else?

It's rare for me to review anything, but the level of care I have received at Frimley Park Hospital and the Aldershot Centre for Health which they sometimes provided appointments in if it is more convenient for me has been nothing short of exceptional, and I feel the need to congratulate the trust for this. Right from the start, I felt that people were interested in me and getting the best for me. I saw the same consultant right from the initial referral by my GP, who went to great lengths to explain what had happened and lay out the options available. At no point were decisions made without checking with me, and if I ever didn't understand anything it was explained thoroughly. On the day of my operation, care was excellent. I was visited my many members of staff from different areas within the hospital, and everyone was polite and courteous and very professional, from theatre staff to porters to nurses on the ward. Again, everything was done to ensure things went smoothly, and any queries were answered thoroughly. The post-operative physiotherapy has been great as well. The initial appointment had to be rearranged due to illness, but that couldn't be helped, and I was given quite a lot of notice. Since then, the continuity of care has been excellent - the same physiotherapist has been made for one to one sessions, with extra sessions in the hospital gym. All staff as usual are friendly and professions, giving a great feeling that you're in good hands. Overall, this is one of the best hospitals I've visited, and I'd like to thank all of the staff for making it so.
