"Well the hospital is very nice ..."

Due to technical problems we have not been able to respond to comments for some time now but I am pleased to able to do so once again and would like to take this opportunity to respond to both Ravinder and Maxine together. We are acutely aware of the car parking problems that have arisen on the site since we commenced construction of the new hospital. As a consequence of feedback (and our own monitoring systems) we are releasing a further a sixty spaces for the use of patients and visitors on April 1st 2008 and in addition have introduced a system of staggering visiting times to different ward areas to ease congestion at peak times. We will keep these changes under review and are in regular discussion with patient representatives about car parking and access issues. We are just about to embark on a major exercise to improve signage across the hospital site whilst the construction work is underway. In only two years time I would add, we will not only have great new facilities but also more parking than we have ever had on the site.
