As part of the Patient Feedback challenge launched by Department of Health money in 2012, Patient Opinion have worked in Partnership with us to develop a feedback website for our Trust that's open and transparent with links on how to leave feedback and to view how our different services are performing.

We were proud to show off this new website at our annual general meeting on July 26th, we asked people what they thought about it:

What fantastic feedback!

We're so pleased that people really like the website, and that we had the opportunity to demonstrate it at the AGM to many more people.

On behalf of Chris Beeley, who built the website along with Numiko and was doing the demonstrations on the day, I want to add that we are always identifying ways to make the website better - and that this first version is by no means 'finished'. We think it's pretty good (and it's nice to hear that other people do too!) but we want to keep making it better and better. Feedback really helps us to do that, so please do keep sharing your feedback with us.

As some of the feedback referenced, the website is quite unique. We don't know of any other NHS Trust that is sharing it's feedback in this way, though many work with Patient Opinion in which case the stories they receive are public straight away which is great.

We think being honest about our feedback and allowing everyone to see everything is the best way to be. That way, we are held accountable by the public and our patients, which is exactly what should happen. It keeps us focussed on the right things.

Keep sharing your feedback with us about the website, it really helps.
