"My wife had a post-natal outpatients ..."

About: Stafford Hospital

(as a relative),

What could be improved

My wife had a post-natal outpatients appointment this morning; we had no alternative but to bring our 9-week old daughter with us. As the appointment lasted two hours, we needed to change her nappy during this time. It was at this point we discovered that the only baby-change facility in the hospital (on the ground floor near reception) is smaller than you find in a supermarket!!

As there must be many other people who find themselves in this situation, surely a hospital of all places should be able to provide a more suitable area for changing a nappy - certainly somewhere larger than a cleaner's cupboard (which is about the size of the existing facilities).
