The Royal Brompton didn't just assume that my condition was incurable. They continued to carry out tests until they had ascertained exactly what the problem was and then they offered me a life saving operation which my local hospital had told me wasn't possible. Thanks to the skill and dedication of the doctors and their teams, I have been given a second chance of life.
