At a time when NHS is under criticism, St Lukes Bradford doesn't do its self many favours. Having extensive experience of St Lukes over very many years, it isn't easy to find anything positive to review. Horrible & depressing buildings. Rude staff who because you are 5 min early walk passed you and into weighting rooms, and will not let you into the weighting room and just leave you standing there. That being in diagnostics area. Just Rude and unhelpful. Admittedly just one individual was responsible for that. Physiotherapists do not have the in depth knowledge of anatomy that you might think. I asked detailed questions on joint replacements and the responses proved a complete lack of knowledge. Quite a few do not known enough about anatomy to be able to give optimum help or care. Couple of months ago sat listing to a specialist male physiotherapist gave wrong advice and left my relative in pain and did not do what they promised & said pain was coming from a totally different joint, which it is not. I also know of a very young nurse who came to the rescue of an extremely ill elderly patent who was just left hardly able to breath due to oxygen nasal pipes falling out. Young Dr was just sat at desk oblivious nearby . It is a sad state of affairs when as a relative you fear leaving a relative. Depressing and unpleasant. I expect this less than positive review will be spotted and quickly counteracted by someone annoyed, with the words, excellent, great care, all nurses and Dr,s were wonderful, can not fault NHS. um !?
