"Treatment is non-existen"

About: Yeovil District Hospital

Anything else?

My husband was taken to A&E twice with the same problem - severe abdominal pain. They performed a number of tests, half of which I almost hysterically demanded. In the end they could not come to satisfactory results, decided that he was not dying immediately and discharged him with the phrase "I will pray for you" - it is rather insulting and suggests that person has untreatable illness, where it is unknown whether he does as some tests are remain to be performed. He was just sent home... Very disappointed. In fact scared to live in this area as there is no emergency treatment available within less than an hour drive to Taunton or Bristol...
