"Great care but very untidy"

I was recently visiting a family member who could not speak highly enough of the care they recieved. However having walked around te hospital lost (is signage really too much to ask for) I couldn't help but notice how very untidy and cluttered it is, with beds, mattresses, rubbish bins, gas cyclinder and what appeared in one area to be a months supply of stock all just dumped in corridors. Also the corridors all looked like they need a good clean from the stains and dust that is on them. The same goes for the wards themselves. Also why do te staff not know patients names, one staff member commented they can't write them down on their forms they use at handover incase they lose them, but I assume this isn't write as people have names not just a bed number
