Anything else?
My partner is currently on her third day on the wards after a long labor that eventually ended in an emergency caesarean. Our daughter immediately had trouble breast feeding, some support was given and there were some superb staff helping us but it was patchy. My biggest problem was on the third day my partner being moved wards at 11:30pm with little notice, her belongings shoved in a plastic bag and hurried to a largely empty ward with a hungry, distressed new born, she also being tired and stressed about our daughter who is still not breast feeding. My partner was left confused, stressed and upset at the whole incident. In the effort to free up bed spaces they have a total lack of sympathy for anyone, some great staff here but this was unacceptable.
