"My treatment"

About: Warrington Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

Despite contacting my MP, the Ombudsman and making direct complaints to the CEO's of the trusts involved (4 trusts and 6 specialists). Despite MANY phone calls to all department & my MP and the Ombudsman I am still awash. I have to be in hospital on Tuesday 23rd, at 0730, 25 miles away, and there is no transport! Could you ask your neighbour to set off at 0630? The ambulance does not start until 0800. My GP is reluctant to provide sufficient analgesia, (by the way she is the 5th in 4 years; but that's another story). I have to have regular treatment for a genetic illness. 41 years (including Medical School) of work for the NHS just gives me a label of troublemaker.

Thanks for leaving your comments. If there is an issue with transport that we can help with, please contact our PALS service via pals@whh.nhs.uk and we will do our best to listen and find a suitable solution for you to move your appointment to a convenient time.
