What I liked

I was very satisfied with my treatment. Resus were excellent. They saved my life during a heart attack.Coronary care ward staff from cleaners ,nursing staff and doctors.eare all excellent. It was a friendly relaxed atmosphere.I have nothing but praise for all services at the hospital during my three week stay. Thanks to everyone concerned. also to the paramedics

What could be improved

The only things which could be improved were the meals but most were edible.Also mixed wards are not acceptable to some elderly people but I do realise the reasons and I coped very well and made friends with both sexes. no problems for me.

Thank you for your comments relating to your recent experiences of our hospital, we will pass our kind words onto the staff in the Emergency Department and on the Coronary Care ward.

We do have seperate female and male bays, and where possible we try to provide single sex accommodation, but as you acknowledge, this isn't always possible in certain specialist wards and departments such as Critical Care and Coronary Care.
