Anything else?
Seeing a doctor in this country is a privilege. Our 5 year old daughter had been in pain due to injuries at school. So, we had to take her to A&E to check if the injury was a fracture or not. When we reached, we were told it would take about 2.5 hrs for our turn. So, we waited for our turn. It was more than 4 hours (8:20 PM to 12:20 AM). At 12:20 AM, we asked at reception, we were told that still there were few more patients and they could not estimate how long before a doctor could see us. To keep a small kid waiting in pain for so long - at last, I could not bear what I was putting my child through. So, we just went back home late in the night. I regret taking her to A&E and making her wait for so long, when she actually needed rest. I don't understand why there is no consideration for kids - why can't there be a quicker queue for younger people at least! Is that too much to ask? Does one have to be seriously injured before anyone pays any attention!?
