"The nurses were very caring and ..."

About: Russells Hall Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The nurses were very caring and kind but the poor things were rushed off their feet trying to cope with a very busy ward. They did admirably under the pressure - expecially as while I was there, they were given a very confused, loud and wandering geriatric lady to look after who couldnt get a bed on the correct ward. This added to their workload as they were constantly having to chase her down the ward to get her back to her room and this disrupted the care of many seriously ill women (gynaecolgy B5West). They coped but it was very hard for them. Overall, my stay was a very good one and they were terrific.

What could be improved

Food - gross - but I think this goes for all hospitals!
