"I feel it might have been seen as more of a priority"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a parent/guardian),

We had to wait 4 weeks for an appointment which surprised me as the appointment was related to my 5 month old daughter (18 weeks at time of referral). She had a problem with her eye. I feel it might have been seen as more of a priority.

The staff at the appointment however were brilliant, I couldn't fault them. Very skilled.

Great service.

Thank you for taking the time to forward your comments.

TRAQS responds to the referral of a patient by their GP. Unfortunately, appointments relating to young children depend upon both the priority afforded by the GP in their referral and the availability of appointments at the chosen clinic/hospital. As your feedback is anonymous I am unable to identify the reason for any unwarranted delay. If care to contact me on 01952 580441 I would be happy to investigate the matter if you so wish.

However, I note that you attended an appointment and were very satisfied with the service provided and I hope your daughter has benefited from her treatment.

Thank you for contacting us.
