"Admission to A and E and subsequent day surgery on Mid July 2013"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General surgery South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

The speed of initial response to get to me was excellent.

There was a days wait for surgery after being told I would be stitched up in the morning. This is by no means a complaint as I understand I was not a priority and I was thankful that after fasting for a day and half that the team went out of their way to get me done late at night - about 9pm. In fact this was excellent and they were so apologetic even when they did not need to be.

I feel humbled that other human beings looked after me so well with such genuine care.
