"Admitted 7/4 for total hysterectomy. ..."

About: Russells Hall Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Admitted 7/4 for total hysterectomy. Consultant, anaesthetic team and in house doctors all very professional. Nursing staff not.

What could be improved

TV please, so boring in there. Prepared to pay for this.

CARING, compassionate staff - I saw many patients upset in tears etc they were ignored by nursing staff. Nurses overruled other staff when I challenged this I was told 'what do they know'! A lot of staff had very bad attitude problems.

Better food please - it is inedible.Prepared to pay for this and did by sending son to shop!

Painkillers should be given when needed not when nurses feel like it.

I have had problems after surgery and my practic nurses are 1000 times better than RH.

So glad to leave after 4 days.
