My 89 year old mum was admitted to Ipswich Hospital 4 weeks ago with sharp pains . Four weeks on she is still in Ipswich Hospital with the sharp pains under her ribs round and into her back. We as a family have had Three meetings with the doctors to find out what's going on each time we have been told they do not know what's wrong with her??? We as a family believe even though she is elderly she deserve to know what's wrong. As 89years old person the hospital are not going to bother to operate on her, but we as a family should be told what's wrong. Although Ipswich Hospital was not named as one of the top 14 hospital criticised in the Keogh Report . The Ipswich Hospital could improve alot on the way to treat the elderly
