Anything else?
I had spent two weeks in the a4 ward in addenbrookes. I was bullied and left on a commode for nearly an hour. I was called a psychopath by one of the hcas. The nurses thought that i could stand when i couldn't and persisted in making me show them thAt i couldnt stand so i fell on the floor and couldn't get up. I was extremely traumatised by my ordeal especially as i have a phobia of hospitals anyway. I will never be able to forget this nightmare. I saw a consultant neurologist who misdiagnosed me as it all being in my head then ( this was a year ago) and has resulted in my physical conditions which are really serious that he failed to spot hence deteriorating and suffering for a year with no treatment. After 6 psychiatric assessments all of which said i had a physical health problem, he kept on that i had some kind of psychological problem.!He continued in calling me 'lazy' and 'no use to society'. Infact he said this on the first consultation not even knowing about my previous successful career. I am extremely upset and will complain further when i am physically able to. This experience has made me afraid to get help for my conditions now. I am writing this as i do not want any one else to go through this when consultants are unaware of rare conditions but label as psychological dispute having no qualifications to carry out a psychiatric assessment. When responding to this please give me contact details of who i complain to to escalate this further
