About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital

Anything else?

Reception women was miserable. Firstly I was promised I meet the Doctor that is going to preform my operation, but this wasn't the case. After the surgery I was expecting a doctor to talk to me, to tell me how my operation went, just to know how everything went. Is this really to much to ask? After I waited for hours for this to happen a nurse just came to discharge me. I told her is there not a doctor coming? She said no as the test results weren't in and that takes weeks. I know that, but I still have questions about my op. She said I could ask her, but after the first sentence when she told me my last pain relieve was at 11am when I wasn't even there at 11am told me that she doesn't really have a clue. She just talked said that everything was fine. It didn't really answer any of my question. The worse bit was when they gave me my discharge papers and left me with that to go home. It said some unpleasant things that I wasn't at all expecting and nobody there to give me any answer to this. Just terribly frighting!!
